We live in a society where only the strong and those willing to adapt survive. Self-defense are skills that every young woman should have regardless of their primary interests or income. We were invited by Shereff Ed Gonzalez to experience R.A.D, a program for all teens at no cost. A special thank you to the team of Deputies that came out and trained our Queens so well.

The Queens celebrated the welcoming of a new, very special, member in our family. Alexa Elias, she has down syndrome and even when it might seem like an obstacle to achieving her dream of becoming a model, she does not fear. Alexa is an inspiration for girls with her condition as she already thrives in the modeling world by showcasing gorgeous gowns from various local designers around the Houston area. Not only that but, Alexa showed our Queens there is nothing to fear when being on stage. Some see weakness, others the opportunity to standout, have a voice and make a change. Our Queens exercised their Entrepreneurial skills. They also experienced the act of giving back to their community by selling and making chocolate covered strawberries to collect funds for the school they each represent.
